Anyone ever rented a margarita machine? Need opinions-worth it?
Im having a large fiesta style party in August, and I really dont want to be stuck at the blenders all night making margaritas. Ive heard that margarita machines are a pain, but the rental place says you just put in the mix and alcohol and it freezes it and keep it moving. It seems like it would be convenient, but I turn to the wonderful ppl of Yahoo answers for opinions! Thanks for any input!!!!!
I cant make that much in advance, too many ppl and I like them to stay frozen.
FYI Hot Dog~I drink mine on the rocks and handmade. Im hiring a bartender for the party, but she’s gets too bogged down w/ blending….
I rented two for my wedding reception and I didn’t have any problems. I had margaritas in one and strawberry daquiris in the other.Just make sure to set it up a few hours in advance so it will get totally frozen. Also if the bartender needs to refill it don’t wait until it’s totally empty, and refill a little at a time so you don’t end up with unfrozen drinks. Have fun!
